Particle Size Analysis
Laser Diffraction
The LA-950 uses Mie Scattering (laser diffraction) to measure particle size of suspensions or dry powders. The speed and ease-of-use of this technique makes it the most popular for many applications.
The LA-300 uses Mie Scattering (laser diffraction) to measure particle size of suspensions or dry powders. The speed and ease-of-use of this technique makes it the most popular for many applications.
Dynamic Light Scattering
The LB-550, using a dynamic light scattering technique, is able to measure very concentrated suspensions, up to 40% solids in many cases, over a size range of 1nm-6µm.
Image Analysis
HORIBA's CAMSIZER features dynamic image analysis to provide rapid and precise particle size and particle shape distributions for dry powders and bulk material in the size range from 30µm to 30mm.
The HORIBA PSA300 is a state of the art turn-key image analysis solution. Seamless integration of Clemex's powerful particle characterization software and an automated microscope with high resolution camera creates an intuitive, easy-to-use imaging workstation.
Acoustic Spectroscopy
The DT-1201, using acoustic and electroacoustic spectrometry, measures both particle size and zeta potential in very concentrated suspensions (up to 50 vol%) over a size range of 5nm-100µm.
