Introducing the InverTau Confocal & Video FLIM Microscope

Thursday, June 27, 2024 at 2:00 p.m EDT / 11:00 a.m.PDT

OVERVIEW:

FLIM (Fluorescence Lifetime Imaging Microscopy) is a compelling technique quickly growing in popularity due to its ability to distinguish the molecular environment of fluorophores. FLIM provides an additional dimension to standard widefield fluorescence imaging, which allows researchers to detect variations of fluorophores that are not apparent with steady-state techniques alone. As this technique expands, higher resolution and faster frame rates are required to match the intricacy and dynamics of biological processes. FLIM instrumentation is also very costly, preventing some researchers from accessing the many benefits of FLIM.

To meet these growing market demands, HORIBA is introducing the new InverTau glavo-scanning confocal FLIM microscope. The InverTau is fast, accurate, cost-effective, remarkably easy to use, and capable of producing 4k x 4k high-resolution images. Bundled with HORIBA’s revolutionary FLIMera TCSPC camera, users can capture FLIM dynamics at video rates in addition to high-resolution FLIM images on the InverTau.

During this webinar, we will cover the following:

  • The InverTau specifications and features
  • Demonstrate the EzTime Image software platform’s ease-of-use
  • The FLIMera’s remarkable FLIM-video capabilities for capturing dynamic-FLIM and quickly scanning samples for regions of interest.
