Calibration Technical Manager

HORIBA UK is seeking a Calibration Technical Manager who will be responsible for ensuring all relevant accreditations are achieved and maintained.

The successful candidate will provide technical advice and guidance to the calibration team, ensuring work is carried out in line with current requirements and the highest standards of service. The role also requires:

• Detailed knowledge of the UKAS accreditation process
• Detailed knowledge of ISO 17025:2017
• Knowledge of uncertainty budgets
• Strong experience using MS Office products, particularly Excel VBA
• Good knowledge of ISO 5167-1 nozzles and Venturi tubes
• Mechanical or electrical technical experience
• Experience with temperature measurements to ITS-90
• Thermocouple simulation to IEC 584
• Communication via USB, RJ45, and Wi-Fi devices
• Familiarity with vehicle regulations including CFR 1065 and WLTP
