Bei zeitaufgelöster Fluoreszenzspektroskopie wird das Fluoreszenzsignal der Probe nach Anregung mit UV-, sichtbarem oder NIR-Licht zeitaufgelöst untersucht. Das Abklingen des Fluoreszenzsignals kann über einen breiten Bereich von einigen Picosekunden bis Millisekunden und darüber hinaus gemessen werden. Dieser Bereich kann mit der Phosphoreszenz Option bis in den Millisekunden Bereich erweitert werden.
