A-TEEM stands for simultaneous Absorbance, Transmittance, and Excitation Emission Matrixes acquisition. It is a faster, cheaper, and highly accurate fluorescence spectroscopy proprietary technique unique to HORIBA. It allows a single instrument to collect multiple measurements at the same time, avoiding the problem of needing two instruments, and making sure the sample is measured at the same point each time. It also corrects for the inner filter effect on the fly.
