Air Pollution Dust Analyzer

The APDA-372 ambient air quality monitoring system provides continuous and simultaneous real-time measurements of PM1, PM2.5, PM4 (respirable fractions), PM10 (thoracic fractions), TSP (Total Suspended Particulates) and particle number concentration.

Based on the QAL1-approved (EN 16450) optical light-scattering principle, the system is equipped with an LED light source offering highly stable output and a long service life.

With an aerosol flow of 4.8 L/min, the analyzer is equipped with a Sigma-2 sampling head, allowing representative measurements even under strong wind conditions. Furthermore, the sampling system features an Intelligent Aerosol Drying System (IADS) as well as sensors for measuring ambient temperature, air pressure and relative humidity. The IADS prevents erroneous particle classification caused by moisture.

The modular design of the APDA-372 system facilitates its assembly in existing 19-inch racks. This system includes a filter holder for absolute filters with diameters of 47 mm or 50 mm. This enables on-site gravimetric correlation. It also enables subsequent chemical analysis of aerosol composition.
