STARS Automation 2.27 Release

HORIBA MEXAcube Gas Analyzer support is included for the measurement of regulated emission species such as carbon monoxide (CO), carbon dioxide (CO2), nitrogen monoxide (NO), and nitrogen dioxide (NO2) with high precision.

We now support HORIBA MEXAcube – you can find it in the STARS Automation hardware inventory in the Portable Devices category.

Also in this release, we’ve replaced the legacy standalone driver builder with an integrated tool to help you create STARS device drivers that utilize the Device Driver Framework (DDF). We’ve significantly improved the user interface with native STARS resource editors, and Automation now benefits from enhanced configuration validation and faster debugging capabilities.

The STARS Diff Patch tool supports you when you need to compare and manage customer data sets. It provides a user-friendly interface to identify differences between data sets, streamlining STARS version upgrades. One typical use case is to compare a customer’s STARS dataset to a clean, unmodified STARS dataset of the same version. This highlights if users have modified default libraries and templates. This is particularly useful for STARS VETS or other application installations.

This release also includes updates to panels, the Vector DB Resource Editor, the STARS Enterprise Synchronizer, and the STARS Toolbox Help. STARS Automation 2.27 does not support Microsoft Excel 2016.
