Field-installation type optical dissolved oxygen meter (DO meter)

Optical sensors improve ease of maintenance.

Ideal for the management of aeration tanks at facilities such as wastewater treatment plants and industrial wastewater treatment facilities. Optical sensors do not require concerns about electrolyte replacement or membrane breakage. The system also offers further enhanced functionality, such as automatic recognition of membrane-specific coefficients characteristics when the sensor cap is replaced.

IC built-in memory sensor cap

Automatic recognition of membrane-specific coefficients eliminates the need to input them when replacing the sensor caps (fluorescent film).

Possible to be combined with a float-type holder

Self-cleaning action uses flow velocity of measured liquid preventing accumulated contamination.  The shape of the sensor prevents dirt and floc from clinging to the sensor part.

Possible to be combined with ultrasonic cleaners

Can be combined with an ultrasonic cleaner, which is effective for use in aeration tanks.  Furthermore, since the sensor is designed to be dropped into the holder, it offers ease of maintenance.

Strengths of the sensor

The sensor offers a longer lifespan compared to other measurement methods. Moreover, with an optical sensor, there are no concerns about membrane damage, and the membrane can be easily replaced by exchanging the entire cap. Three cleaning methods are available (water jet, air jet, and ultrasonic).

*1: The standard for effect on the reading by the electromagnetic eld of the radiated radio frequency and HD-200FL by the conducted interference is within the measured dissolved oxygen value ± 0.4 mg/L.
*2: When the sensor cable, the transmission cable, or the contact input cable is extended by 30 m or more, the surge test under the EMC Directive for CE marking is not applied.
*3: An arrester (spark over voltage: 400 V) is implemented for transmission output, contact input, and communication. However, use a most suitable surge absorption element on the connection lines in accordance with the ambient environment, the situation of equipment installed, and the externally connected equipment.
