POCKIT Central Point of Care Isothermal PCR Analyzer

The POCKIT Central is a fully automated Molecular Assay for sensitive detection of SARS-CoV-2 (orf 1ab) to aid in the fast on-site diagnosis of the COVID-19 Coronavirus.

The POCKIT Central SARS-CoV-2 (orf 1ab) Premix Reagent is fully CE / IVD accredited and intended for use with the system. The assay, targeting orf 1ab gene, is an in-vitro diagnostic molecular assay for qualitative detection of severe acute respiratory coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2) RNA in oropharyngeal swab samples from patients suspected of SARS-CoV-2 infection (COVID-19) during the acute phase.

Using gold-standard iiPCR technology, the POCKIT Central provides confidence and precision-analysis within a fast turnaround time of 85 minutes – fully automated and all contained within a benchtop-size analyser on-site at the user’s location.
