Enteric fermentation in ruminants produces methane (CH4), a potent greenhouse gas with a significant impact on global warming. As countries work toward carbon neutrality, reducing CH4 emissions from livestock has become an important challenge. This webinar will introduce the latest research on ruminant nutrition and practical approaches to CH4 reduction, along with advanced analytical techniques for continuous and accurate monitoring of CH4, carbon dioxide (CO2) , and other key parameters.
In this presentation, Professor Chalermpon Yuangklang will introduce the findings of a study conducted using a CH4 chamber system to evaluate the effects of dietary tannin supplementation on enteric CH4 emissions, growth performance, and feed intake in goats.
