What is Sample Preparation
Borate Fusion
Borate fusion is a sample preparation technique to prepare glass disks (beads) for XRF, or to prepare peroxide or pyrosulphate fusions. An optional solution stirrer provides for AA, ICP and wet chemistry solution making ability.
With our automated electric fluxers, doing fusions becomes quick, easy and efficient, improving your lab productivity.
Typical samples/applications include: cements, ores, slag, sediments, soils, rocks, ceramics, pigments, glass and even metals.
Six-position heavy-duty fully automated electric fusion machine with a throughput of up to 30 samples per hour. Used to prepare glass disks (beads) for XRF, solutions for ICP/AA and peroxide or pyrosulfate fusions. Built with the most demanding lab in mind the X-600 fluxer combines speed, simplicity and a robust design for the experienced or novice user.
