HORIBA Instruments has developed a patented optical spectrometer that is beginning to displace traditional analytical techniques, like HPLC and MS, for certain industrial QA/QC and process monitoring applications. It is a simple and fast optical technique that requires no chromatographic equipment and minimal sample preparation, saving time and money. The technique is referred to as A-TEEM, standing for Absorbance-Transmission fluorescence Excitation Emission Matrix spectroscopy. The new A-TEEM technique provides traceable molecular fingerprints for precise chemical quantification and product classification.
This presentation will provide exciting new results in the areas of wine chemistry, olive oil chemistry and other food and natural products including dietary supplements.
