We aim to maximize the value of our most important asset in HORIBA, HORIBARIANs, by each of them demonstrating their “Joy and Fun” and by promoting initiatives to put into practice HORIBA's Values of “Spirit of Challenge," “Reliability and Trust,” and “Pursuit of Excellence."

Vision, Mission, Values (Our Future)

We share HORIBA's Vision, Mission, and Values through a special website and training programs to accurately communicate and expand HORIBARIANs' empathy for the future that we aspire to.
Participants think about the year 2053, the company's centennial year, when our Vision of “Joy and Fun for All” is fully realized. In addition, they also think about how they can put the three values (Spirit of Challenges / Reliability and Trust / Pursuit of Excellence) into practice by linking them to their daily work. The workshop is conducted with an emphasis on dialogue among HORIBARIANs.

What is the power of Joy and Fun？

BlackJack Project is a bottom-up activity in which HORIBARIANs freely decide on themes based on their own questions and issues, such as process improvement, Development of HORIBARIANs, and strengthening of organizational capabilities, and take on the challenge of reform. We hold the BlackJack World Cup every December to select the best project themes from each region worldwide, providing an opportunity for communication with the management team.

"HONMAMON Celebration Day” was established in 2024 to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the birth of our founder, Dr. Masao Horiba. On December 1, we have an opportunity to share our philosophy including “HONMAMON”, and actively communicate in pursuit of that.
The HONMAMON Award recognizes outstanding achievements worthy of “HONMAMON,” encourages all HORIBARIANs to foster a culture of pursuing work that moves people's hearts.

The purpose of this program is to develop group members & leaders who can play a central role in the HORIBA global business. Not only developing knowledge, but also communicating with the top management in our Group companies, who are currently leading the HORIBA Group, and learn about the mindset to think about practical solutions. Through this program, we expect that participants should be able to lead the next generation of global management that will meet the demands of society and the market and produce a sense of unity for HORIBA.
