About the workshop
Complete Blood Count (CBC) remains one of the most frequently ordered laboratory tests, yet valuable inflammatory biomarkers such as the Neutrophil-to-Lymphocyte Ratio (NLR) and Granulocyte-to-Lymphocyte Ratio (GLR) are often underutilized. This workshop will explore the biological significance of these hematological ratios and how, when combined with C-reactive Protein (CRP), they can provide additional insights into immune response, inflammation, and disease severity.
Participants will discover how these biomarkers can support clinical decision-making, risk stratification, and the management of infectious and inflammatory conditions. The workshop will also examine the role of NLR, GLR, and CRP in disease severity assessment and explore how factors such as age and comorbidities can influence biomarker interpretation.
