Portable gas analyzer wins iF product design award

The PG-300 portable gas analyzer was awarded the iF product design award 2014 among 4615 product entries from 55 contributing countries.  Established in 1953, the award program is organized by International Forum Design, a Hannover-based international design promotion organization. Awards are presented to those products that exhibiting the best appearance, design features, functionality, and environmental impact.  HORIBA has previously received two domestic awards for this product: the Good Design Award and the Machine Industry Design Award Special Jury Prize. As an honored award recipient, HORIBA’s pursuit to achieve design quality for customer satisfaction is apparent.

About the Award-winning Product

The PG-300, which has been certified by TÜV, a European auditing and certifying organization, has a more durable but lighter weight body than preceding models, while maintaining high accuracy and reliability. In addition to the PG-300’s enhanced portability, the new user-friendly interface features advanced screen functions such as an operation guide, customizable displays for the measurement ranges and seven language options.
