OEM Account Manager

Essential Job Functions:

  • Oversee and coordinate communications with the customers, pulling in engineering, purchasing, quality, and/or manufacturing depending on the issue.
  • Keep consignment flowing properly (new shipments to the warehouses; creating sales orders, deliveries, and invoices from the consumption reports).
  • Create biweekly backlog reports to aid manufacturing and help Sci Ops manufacturing forecasts.
  • Monthly checks of backlog versus usage to determine when to prompt the customers to reorder.
  • Forecast future orders, sales and margins; report these at least monthly.
  • Report on sales and orders (weekly; monthly; annually).
  • Provide Quotes and Track costs so we know when to raise customer pricing.
  • Coordinate and reconcile customer contracts with legal counsel at HQ.
  • Release customers/orders when flagged by the Global Trade Management Software (government watch lists).
  • Visit our top accounts once a year, to discuss open issues, 6-12 months forecast, long term growth plans.
  • Testing new (mainly IT) rollouts for OEM; since OEM is separate from the rest of the company everything has to be tested by OEM in parallel with the rest of the company.
  • Custom sales/forecast/other reports for top management (Excel and PPT)

 

Skills Experience Preferred

  • SAP
  • Microsoft Office (Excel, Power point, Word)
  • 4Year Degree in Science
  • ISO or similar Quality System.
  • Customer Relations
  • Sales Force
