Expert level Raman Images for Everyone with EasyImage™

Palaiseau, Saclay Campus, France, July 30th, 2020 –

HORIBA, a global leader in measurement and analysis solutions for advanced research and industry, and the world leader in Raman microscopy and nanoscopy, is thrilled to announce the launch of EasyImage™, a new imaging tool for Raman microscopy.

EasyImage™ is a new App HORIBA’s well respected Labspec6™ Raman imaging software package. It provides guidance to new users, allowing them to quickly generate publication-ready results. EasyImage™ flattens the learning curve for beginners in Raman imaging by assisting in the understanding of the 5 key steps required for chemical image generation:

  • Sample focusing and area of interest selection
  • Imaging parameter optimization
  • Spectral fingerprint selection
  • Rapid measurement preview
  • High quality chemical image collection using Raman spectroscopy

EasyImage™ includes intelligent spectral range and other acquisition parameter selection, automated (and manual) spectral display at various points on the sample – ensures optimal parameter selection, automated background removal, automated spectral identification (with optional KnowItAll® database), automated chemometric loading generation (optional) and customizable automatic analysis report generation.

EasyImage™ embeds expert knowledge to minimize training requirements and its image centric workflow makes it ideal for labs with many relatively inexperienced uses. It is also a great assistant for busy scientists as its workflow naturally brings the right data and important parameters to the attention of the user at the right time.

EasyImage™ complements the wide range of usability features included in the new LabRAM Soleil™ Raman microscope and can also be used with other HORIBA Raman microscopes.  EasyImage™ provides benefits for almost all sample types including 2D materials, nano-materials, pharmaceuticals, tissue and cells and even photoluminescence and Raman analysis of semiconductors.

“With LabRAM Soleil™ and EasyImage™, enter a new area of automation and enjoy high-definition Raman images in just a few clicks”, said Ludivine Fromentoux, Raman Product Manager, HORIBA France.
