Our North American Automotive team is actively seeking a Service Engineer to spearhead installations, start-ups, commissioning, and repairs of cutting-edge HORIBA equipment at customer sites worldwide. Key Responsibilities

  • Technical Expertise in Action:
    • Execute flawless installations, start-ups, and commissioning of HORIBA products.
    • Provide in-house repairs for defective customer equipment.
  • Customer Support and Collaboration:
    • Assist customers and internal HORIBA departments with technical questions and Requests for Quotation (RFQs).
  • Detailed Reporting:
    • Prepare comprehensive Field Service Reports for invoicing, warranty claims, and policy.
    • Provide redlined drawings detailing field changes.
  • Quality Assurance and Validation:
    • Create Acceptance Documents and Procedures to validate design specifications.

 

Desired Qualifications:

  • Educational Background:
    Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent knowledge/experience.
  • Skills and Attributes:
    • Excellent customer service skills.
    • Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
    • Self-motivated and capable of working independently.
