HORIBA India, a subsidiary of The HORIBA Group, based in Kyoto, Japan began operations in 2006 and has rapidly grown into a significant contributor to India’s industrial landscape. Headquartered in New Delhi, the company is engaged in three business verticals including Energy and Environment, Bio and Healthcare and Materials and Semiconductor and has been growing steadily at an average growth rate of more than 15% every year. With a workforce of ~500 employees, HORIBA’s India business has established itself in various industries with an increasing market share across PAN-India and SAARC nations. HORIBA India President, Dr. Rajeev Gautam’s vision is to grow revenues aiming at 20 B.JPY by the year 2028. In 2016, HORIBA started “HORIBA India Technical Center” at Chakan, Pune to provide emission and engine testing services for the Automotive sector and later added Process & Environmental and Semiconductor Mass flow controllers manufacturing and integration. In 2019, the company established one of the region’s largest Medical Equipment and Hematology Reagent Manufacturing facility in Butibori, Nagpur.
The company aligns itself with Government of India’s initiatives, contributing to the socio-economic development through local manufacturing and research & development (R&D) investments.
