We are hiring a Chief Engineer for Vehicle Dynamics to join HORIBA MIRA, supporting our growing engineering team in China.
This role suits an experienced vehicle dynamics engineer with a strong background in development, testing, and team leadership. You will be responsible for leading vehicle dynamics projects, developing local engineering capability, and supporting business growth in the region. Based in Xiangyang, you will work with an established team of engineers and technicians, delivering both objective testing and subjective assessment programmes. This includes activities such as ride and handling development, K&C testing, data analysis, and prototype tuning to meet defined targets.
The team operates from a well-equipped facility, where you’ll work closely with simulation, control, and project management teams to deliver integrated solutions for OEM clients. The role also involves regular customer interaction, including technical reporting, progress updates, and supporting proposal development. There is scope to contribute to wider engineering activities across Europe and Asia.
We are looking for someone with significant experience in vehicle dynamics attribute development, strong technical judgement, and the ability to lead and develop a team in a fast-growing environment.
