Webinar Description

Dr. Nicole Comfort of Columbia University discusses the approach her team uses for comparing the efficiency of two previously published CNS-EV isolation methods. Extracellular vesicles (EVs) are nanoscale, membrane-bound vesicles secreted by nearly all cell types into the extracellular space. The use of blood-isolated CNS-EVs are biomarkers of metal exposure and disease progression in amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS). In this webinar, learn about Dr. Comfort’s exciting research and the important role of nanoparticle tracking analysis (NTA).
