Decoding Particle Science and Technology into Practical Manufacturing

This webinar will present the history, structure, and current research program of the International Fine Particle Research Institute (IFPRI). We will also look at the benefits of IFPRI membership including access to over 700 papers and reviews, focused workshops on particle science and technology areas, and a new emphasis on continuing education in particle science and technology.

IFPRI was founded in 1979 as an industrial member-led consortium to address fundamental particle science and technology issues of interest to industry. By bringing together over 35 companies from around the world in pharma, chemicals, mining, equipment, personal care, and software IFPRI has developed a broad funded research portfolio that addresses many of the vexing practical problems in size reduction, wet slurries, powder flow, particle formation, and characterization. With funded pre-competitive research in these areas, members' questions are researched with the results shared among the members. The close collaboration between the members' companies and internationally renowned academic researchers produces a forum for members to discuss broad interest problems in particle science and technology.
