Breaking the Benchmarking Barrier: Establishing ALF for Predictive Photo-Acoustic Molecular Engineering
Photoacoustic imaging (PAI) is a relatively new hybrid biomedical imaging technique that leverages optical excitation and ultrasonic detection to achieve deep, high resolution, non-invasive, real-time visualization of biological structures. Systematic optimization of PA-active small molecule NIR dyes has been limited by the absence of an experimental parameter that links standard photophysical measurements to photoacoustic output.
