－自動車開発およびインフラ整備プロジェクトNATRiP－
インド政府は，自動車産業を2016年までに1450億円規模の市場に成長させる施策の一環として，自動車試験および研究開発インフラ整備を目的としたプロジェクト（NATRiP）を立ち上げた。2009年9月，HORIBAは，本プロジェクトの排ガス計測設備受注に成功した。NATRiPに対してHORIBAが納入する排ガス計測設備は，世界各国の異なる排ガス規制に対応する柔軟性・広範性，およびインドにおける将来の排ガス技術の発展を見越した設備の拡張性，さらに複数研究拠点での排ガス計測設備の相関性を担保した仕様となっている。加えて，生産台数の多い2輪車・3輪車，重量車の主流となっている圧縮天然ガス（CNG）エンジンなど，インド特有の自動車事情も考慮した仕様となっている。
The Indian government has started up a project, NATRiP, targeting at the automotive R&D infrastructure development as a part of the political measure to develop the automotive industry. It is the market of 145 billion JPY scale by 2016. In September 2009, HORIBA has succeeded to receive an order for the exhaust gas measurement systems in this project. Each system has a wide application for several different automotive emission regulations in the world, and it has a future extendibility corresponding to the upcoming Indian automotive technologies evolution. Also the systems have correlation capabilities between several different test laboratories in NATRiP. Additionally, the systems have specifications to meet distinctiveness of Indian market, such as emission measurement capabilities for 2- and 3-wheelers and CNG engines.
