Use & Benefits
Used for Photography while using a forensic light source, the filters act like goggles for the camera, improving the visibility of the evidence
The proper colored filter will block the specific wavelength of light emitted by the forensic or alternate light source, allowing only the longer wavelength fluorescence to pass. In this way the camera will see what your eyes see, the weak fluorescence caused by the light source.
When documenting evidence with images, you should put the filter on the camera that is the same color as the goggle you are wearing for the specific wavelength of light emitted by the light source.
Always wear appropriate eye protection when using ANY Forensic or Alternate Light Source.
